Working predominantly in oils, Lauren loves the thick, buttery texture and versatility that this traditional medium offers, and has a passion for creating
emotion-evoking and light contrasting pieces of art.
ORIGINAL ARTWORK
Lauren uses oil paints as her preferred medium.
Oils are known for having more pigment in them than other types of paint, making for richer, deeper, more textural paintings that look like you could step into the scene itself. The additional pigment is known to give the colour of these paints a vivid and vivacious appearance like that of butter.
Artisan professionally stretched cotton and linen canvases with a smooth tooth (texture) are Lauren’s preferred painting surface, giving the artworks a finished border without the requirement of needing to be framed if so chosen.
CLASSIC PRINTS
Prints of Lauren’s work are available in 4 sizes (A4, A3, A2 and A1). There is a 1cm white border within the specified page size and are only supplied unframed.
Each print is hand-signed by Lauren and printed on premium True Rag 100% cotton paper (300gsm, white, smooth matt) so that the artwork image remains genuine and has an exclusive and true natural paper feel.
